Two generations of cinematographer are here at work on the romance "Marjorie Morningstar". Harry Stradling Sr., ASC and future ASC member Harry Stradling Jr. [left], frequently worked together, with the son serving as a camera assistant for his father. Stradling Jr. - who also gained experience working with ASC members John Alton, Paul C. Vogel and Robert H. Planck - earned his first credit as a director of photography on the edgy drama "Synanon" (1965). [Courtesy of the American Society of Cinematographers]
