PABLO ROSSO AEC

Born: 22 April 1961, Córdoba, Argentina, as Pablo César Rosso Spina.

Education: Escuela de Artes Aplicadas 'Lino Eneas Spilimbergo', Córdoba, Argentina [graduated as 'Técnico superior en fotografía' in 1980].

Career: Went to Spain when he was 20 years old. Started working as a still ph for various publications. Went to London, UK, to work [1984-85] as a c.op & editor in the correspondent office of the Spanish International Network [SIN was the first Spanish language television network in the United States. From its inception in 1961, SIN was the U.S. subsidiary of Televisa, the Mexican entertainment conglomerate]. Went back to Spain and lighted some tv-programs for the Disney Channel, Real Madrid TV and Canal+. Started to focus on a career as cinematographer.

Awards: Festival de Cine Internacional de Ourense 'AEC Premio Mejor Fotografía' [2004] for 'Frío sol de invierno'; 'Gaudí Award' nom [2012] for 'Mientras duermes'.
