Born: 7 March 1942, Princeton, N.J., as Philip Alan Parmet.

Education: Fairleigh Dickinson University, New Jersey [graduated 1965]; Annenburg School of Communication, University of Pennsylvania.

Career: Ph music videos, e.g. 'Straight Ahead' [1983; a: Kool & the Gang; d: Nigel Dick], 'Give Me Tonight' [1983; a: Shannon; d: Nigel Dick], 'Let the Music Play' [1983; a: Shannon; d: Nigel Dick], 'I Can't Get Next to You' [1986; a: The Temptations; d: Nigel Dick] & 'Foxy Foxy' [2005; a + d: Rob Zombie].
