Born: 3 May 1961, Purbeck, Dorset, UK.

Education: High Wycombe College of Art, Buckinghamshire, UK.

Career: Came up through the traditional camera ranks and worked as an asst to Gabriel Beristáin for several years. Was first recognized for his work on the music video 'Peek-A-Boo' [1988; a: Siouxsie & the Banshees; d: Peter Scammel].

Continued to shoot music videos dir by Peter Scammel ['Standing There', 1989, a: The Creatures], Nigel Dick ['All My Trials', 1990, a: Paul McCartney], Jake Scott, Philipp Stölzl ['American Pie', 2000, a: Madonna], a.o.

Ph numerous commercials dir by Ridley Scott [for Orange], Peter Scammel, Jonathan Glazer, Joel Schumacher [for Lancôme], Roman Coppola [for Tiger Beer], Daniel Kleinman [for Intel], a.o.
