JACQUES LOISELEUX

Born: 18 March 1933, Saint-Quentin, France, as Robert-Jacques Loiseleux.

Died: 17 March 2014, Versailles, France.

Career: Wrote the book 'La lumière en cinéma' [2004].

Was one of the founding members of the AFC.

His daughter Valérie is a film editor.

Appeared in the short 'La marelle' [1971, Pierre-William Glenn].

Awards: Montréal World FF 'Best Artistic Contribution' [1994; shared] for 'Kabloonak'; Lecce Festival of European Cinema Award [2003; shared] & Ourense Independent FF 'AEC Award' [2003; shared] for 'A mulher polícia'.
