Born: 20 November 1961, Braunschweig [Brunswick], [West-]Germany, as Robert S. Brinkmann.
Education: Film School of the University of Southern California [USC] [1981-1985].
Career: Came to the USA in 1980.
Formed Cinescope Productions and prod/ph music videos [a: Bon Jovi, Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, Placido Domingo, U2 ('One' - version 3, 1992, Phil Joanou), Tarsha Vega, a.o.], commercials and programs for tv. Left the company. He is the owner [with designer Dan Panosian] of IOVO Designs making designer cat litter boxes! [Brinkmann's interest in design and embarrassment as a cat owner drove him to dream up a better looking cat litter box - the Litterfish.]
Was married to actress Mena Suvari [2000-05].
Appeared in the ep 'The Rules of Attraction' of the 19-part Sundance Channel series 'Anatomy of a Scene'.
